Match Report vs Kowloon

Bloomberg Hong Kong Scottish bounced back from last weekend’s disappointing result to HKFC by beating Kowloon on Saturday the 2nd of December. The game didn’t start well for HKS though as Kowloon scored in the opening minutes. Scottish were next to strike through Charles Cheung who scored under the poles making McNeish’s conversion a formality. Some neat handling down the left flank saw Jarrod Mongston score next, Kowloon had 2 players sin binned in the first half and McNeish took advantage of this by slotting 2 penalties. Half time score 21-7 to Scottish. Second half tries by Ben Tyler, Lex Kaleca, Kane Boucaut and a stunning 60 meter solo effort from Marcus Ramage resulted in a final score of 49 - 21.

It was a great day for the club as all 5 teams picked up victories. The Nomads played after the first XV and turned over a strong Kowloon 2nd team winning 42 - 28. The Bravehearts game was forfeited as Revolution failed to field a team. The Phoenixes beat Causeway Bay 38 - 19 and finally our ladies team the HKS Kukris beat Valley 24 - 5.

Next week sees HKS take on Valley at Shek Kip Mei with a 3pm kick off.
